Goal: A prosperous integration of new employees of all departments

Description: The largest public transportation player in Belgium, the NMBS, had been looking for an onboarding activity in the form of an interactive game. Their choice fell on Businessgames and we now look back on a very pleasant and successful cooperation.

The onboarding for the new NMBS employees is organised twice a month, once in French and once in Dutch. After an introduction video with words spoken by the NMBS CEO the activities commence. Employees are divided into several teams and spend the day simulating a journey by train; a trip in which they encounter incidents that real passengers also face on a day-to day basis. This game is a test of involvement and empathy, while at the same time providing itself as a powerful learning tool. And everything is in line with NMBS’s objective, which is to constantly improve the passenger experience.
